Hi cuties, hope you are all doing well! I am sure some of you have heard of “Birchbox”. They have just launched in Canada, so us Canadians are finally able to experience this amazing service. Birchbox allows you to try out various high end products every month. They send you sample sizes of these products to try and if you like them, you can go on to your account and order the full size. It’s as easy as that!

I placed my order on a Monday night and was delivered to my house Wednesday morning. I don’t know about you, but I love when my online orders come in fast!

 

This month’s box itself was soooo cute. The box has “2016: The year of ______” and there are stickers inside so you can pick what this year means to you. I chose ambition ;).

This service would be perfect for you, if you love makeup, skincare or hair products (come on, who doesn’t love beauty products anyway??).  I have already tried each one of the products that came in the January box. All the products from this month are popular Korean brands. Korea is known for their innovative and almost futuristic products. They’re pretty much always ahead of us on this end of the world (lol).

A few of these products will be making it into my January favourites post, so I won’t be saying too much right now. I have pretty much incorporated all these products into my daily routine… yes I am in love. The “TonyMoly” tint Delight is a lip stain. It comes with a lipgloss applicator and trust me… a little goes a long way. I love it because the stain gives your lips a little life and does not budge. It’s practical for the sexy hard workers out there. You can throw it in your purse and put it on at work/school or wherever your destination is. I use the deluxe sample of the “derma e Hydrating Scrub” every other day. It has Hyaluronic Acid so it moisturizes while it exfoliates. It’s important to keep skin hydrated because nobody I know wants wrinkles. Since it’s winter, my skin has been disgustingly dry and flakey even though I really do have oily skin. It’s a big bottle and I can see it lasting a while. Then I apply the “Ursa Major Fortifying Face Balm.” It has aloe and carrot in it. It really is super natural skin care. The moisturizer is a runny texture so it does the job without leaving a greasy look to your skin. Also, if you get your eyebrows done and you want to soothe your skin; this is the perfect product. It has a cooling element to it. I will definitely have to order a big bottle of this stuff. My ultimate fave has got to be the “Fave 4 Texture Takeover hairspray.” I always struggle getting volume in my hair without teasing. I freaking hate teasing my hair! All you have to do is spray this stuff into your roots and all over and it holds without making your hair rock hard. I love it. Lastly, we have the “Harvey Prince Eau So Divine” perfume sample. It really does smell divine. My mom stole this from me and she has it in her pocket now, so yeah. Tough luck for me!
